Courtenay K. McCue (CRT Designs) is a young emerging visual artist based on the Gold Coast. She pushes boundaries and breaks the rules drawing inspiration from the urban culture around her, with a unique street inspired style with a pop art twist.
Courtenay’s trademark CRT is derived from her nickname Court, which has become her artist signature and a prominent symbol within the visual language of her work.
Courtenay is a regularly exhibiting artist on the Gold Coast and Melbourne. These exhibitions include the Melbourne CamART Show (2nd People’s Choice Award), RAW Natural Born Artist, Supanova Pop Culture Expo, RADFLY Youth Art Prize, Marymount College Art Show (1st People’s Choice Award) and a regular exhibitor at the Miami Marketta. Rivendale Art Gallery has recently acquired two pieces of work for their gallery collection.
Courtenay is a recipient of the City of Gold Coast 2017 “Level Up” Youth Art Residency program.
